TV notes

Tonight Fox reruns the Simpsons episode in which, after Homer and Marge fight, Homer ends up sharing a condo with two gay guys and loving it (“Three Gays of the Condo,” 8 p.m.).

And of course, the Sex and the City season premiere airs tonight (“To Market, To Market,” HBO, 9 p.m.). Cosmos all around!

Ah, The Simpsons. The last show I watch on Fox, now that Futurama is, ironically, a thing of the past.
And even The Simpsons is wearing on me — perhaps more than a decade of the show is beginning to be too much? I dunno. It’s still far and away the best offering on Fox, and perhaps it just receded in my estimation when compared to Futurama. Nonetheless, I’ll be watching!

I hadn’t seen that episode of The Simpsons when it previously aired, so I was glad to catch it last night; thanks for the heads-up, though it turns out that TiVo already had decided I would like it. Very funny, though Hank Azaria’s Julio sounded just like his Agador Spartacus from Birdcage.

I also enjoyed Sex and the City’s premiere. Samantha, even though the oldest of the four, always seems to get the hottest guys; that continues to give me hope as I go rushing down the far side of the gay hill. Her stockbroker affair-of-the-week last night was Victor Webster, who is a regular member of the cast of one of my guilty pleasures, Mutant X, on the WB.
