Okay, so don’t hate me, but I’ve changed my archive path. I’m all for simplification, while still retaining the date identity for each individual page, so I got rid of the two leading digits in the year, and the underscores. Also, the path leads straight off the root directory. So, for example, previously, the permanent link for this entry might have looked like
http://rebelprince.com/archives/
2003/06/2003_06_23.html#000463
but is now
http://rebelprince.com/03/06/030623.html#000463
I know, it’s a small change, but it had been bothering me all this time. I’ll keep the old archives online for a while before I delete them, so if you’ve linked to individual entries, they won’t be broken immediately. (At least not until I change my mind again. Just kidding. I think.) The archive index itself, your one-page, at-a-glance guide to all the old entries, is unchanged. Thanks for your patience with my whimsical nature.
Dear Jeff.. Haven’t been around for a while so I enjoyed catching up on your bits and bobs. Glad all is well. I love the summery update and the Seurat is great. I’ve had my nose pushed up against the screen for a couple of minutes just trying to take in all the little Seurat dots. Talk soon.
