For you local foodies:
In cooperation with the Washington D.C. Convention and Tourism Corporation, Restaurant Week will run from Monday, July 28, to Sunday, Aug. 3. Between these dates, Washington restaurants will offer fixed-price lunch and dinner specials. The three-course lunch is $20.03; the three-course dinner, $30.03. Prices do not include beverage, tax and gratuity.

Wow! Wish we’d known about this earlier; a $30.03 three-course meal at Butterfield 9 or DC Coast would have been a great way to spend an evening or two this week.
So apparently one can’t say “prix fixe” in D.C.
I wonder if “freedom cut beans” are on any of the menus…
