The coming storm

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Seriously. Not a cloud in the sky. It’s gorgeous. Must be the calm before the storm:

Hurricane Isabel projected path

Yikes. And I have plans to fly to Boston on Friday. I guess I’ll wait and see.

[Addendum (17:42): Is it just me, or do the colors of that hurricane map totally fit with my website design? The slate blue of the ocean complements the borders and sidebar titles nicely, and the red line marking the storm path picks up the maroon in the banner and date headers. Ha. Oh, wait, it’s an actual hurricane, huh.]

I swear I did not do a pagan rain dance in order to keep you here this weekend!

Uh, dude, you gettin’ all coincidentally-challenged like my dear ole pa?

*Dude* You can’t let a little thing like a hurricane get in the way of a fun weekend on Cape Cod.

*hands Jeff his tiara and diploma* Congratulations. You have officially graduated to Queen-hood. No longer are you a dainty princess. Now, when you enter the room (or someone’s screen), your gayity is for all to see. (At least for this entry…)

Oh, and by the way, since you’re feeling all beautiful and splendiferous from your new promotion, I’m sure you would just love to TiVo-to-Tape the rerun of the Carnivale premiere on HBO, wouldn’t you?

You’re a doll! Thanks :)
