Itch to switch

I wasn’t going to write about this until I had my newly purchased technology in my hot little hands, but what the hell. I’m too excited. So you know I’ve been itching to get a new computer and to switch to Mac, and the other day I finally ordered an iBook. (I’ve drunk the Kool-Aid, as PJ commented. And by the way, many thanks go to Gene, whose auspices are much appreciated.) Expect more gratuitous fawning over the computer when it actually arrives. It should be here in a couple of weeks at the most. Okay, I’ve just jinxed it, haven’t I?

I also ordered an iPod, which is due to arrive in a few days, ahead of the mother ship. Ah, excitement. The other feeling of the moment: TGIF! Have a great weekend, kids.

Ha! It’s funny that you’d be making the switch about the same time I’m getting used to using an iBook at work. I’ve only been using it for a week, but I can definitely say it’s a nice little machine. I’ve even been thinking to myself “Hmmmm. I could get a Mac, and just keep the PC for playing computer games…”
